Maintaining a low-stress environment is crucial to raising healthy kittens. However, we are happy to provide FaceTime calls, photos, and video updates so you can stay connected every step of the way.

At Elara Eclipse Maine Coons, every kitten we raise is part of a bigger purpose — a mission born from love, heartbreak, and a deep devotion to the Maine Coon breed.
My journey as a Maine Coon breeder began in 2020, though I’ve always been a lifelong cat lover with a background in feline rescue. My first true Maine Coon experience came when I met Simba — a stunning, people-loving, soul-changing cat who stole my heart in an instant.
Simba wasn’t born into ideal circumstances. He was rejected by a breeder due to ringworm, but I took him in, nursed him back to health, and gave him the love he deserved. In the short time we shared together, Simba showed me just how special Maine Coons truly are — their gentle nature, emotional intelligence, and unwavering affection.
Tragically, Simba passed away at just one year old from FIP and HCM. To say I was devastated is an understatement. But from that grief, a mission was born. I poured myself into a full year of research, health education, and breeding ethics, determined to honor his legacy and help prevent other families from experiencing the same heartbreaking loss.
In 2021, I imported my first Maine Coon breeding cats and officially founded Elara Eclipse Maine Coons — a CFA-registered, health-focused cattery in North Carolina, dedicated to raising Maine Coons with sound genetics, excellent temperaments, and loving personalities.
This breed changed my life, and now I get to share that same joy with families across North Carolina, the United States, and beyond. Whether you're just starting your Maine Coon journey or adding another furry star to your home, I’m honored to be part of your story.
