Here at Elara Eclipse Maine Coon Cattery we are dedicated to bettering the Maine Coon breed standard; with Health as our number one priority. All of our Queens and Kings are imported European lines. Each one is genetically, and physically tested prior to breeding.
We love our cats and kittens with all our heart. They are raised in our family home, and we love to share their unique, fun-loving, affectionate personalities with the right family.
Temperament is one of our utmost priorities along with health. We spend much of our time handling and playing with our kittens to ensure that they have the proper socialization skills before they leave for their furever home.
We do not allow visitors in our cattery/home. This is for the safety and health of our cats/kittens and our family. It is important to keep stress levels to a minimal. However, we offer facetime sessions and biweekly picture/video updates (This can change at our discretion.)
Elara Eclipse Maine Coon Cattery adoption process:
Step 1: Fill out a kitten application located at the bottom of this page. Once reviewed and approved we will contact you to schedule a "get to know us" FaceTime meeting. This is a wonderful opportunity to ask any questions and discuss the next steps!
Step 2: Elara Eclipse Priority list. This is a deposit list that secures your spot for kitten selection. Our priority list is sold to first before any others. It is $250 to be placed on our priority list. (Please NOTE: This is non-refundable).
Step 3: Once on the priority list we will send emails with updates on litters and what colors we are to expect. PRIORITY list gets first pick. Once your kitten is selected (4-5 weeks of age) there is a $250 reservation fee that secures your selected kitten.
NOTE: THIS TOTAL = $500 deposit WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM YOUR TOAL BALANCE. REMAINING BALANCE IS NOT DUE UNTIL DAY OF PICK UP!

Our kittens are ready to go to their homes around 13-14 weeks of age and no earlier. Please refer to our "Included with your kitten page" for ALL information regarding what we do to ensure your kitten is healthy before leaving.
Please do not submit an application unless you are ready. Once your application has been approved and we see a good fit, we will schedule a facetime call to get to know each other. You will get to see us interact with our kittens and find your perfect fit!
